AI features for existing software, with costs you control
CompertMe adds AI features to software that is already in use, such as plain-language explanations of technical reports, chat assistants, smart search and document processing. Each feature answers from your own data, with a daily spending cap and an AI provider that can be changed in one setting.
- Who it’s for
- Product owners with live software who want AI that answers from their own data, at a cost they control.
What we do
AI that says when it has no answer.
Plain-language explanations
Technical output becomes a sentence a director can act on. On a cybersecurity platform, every vulnerability its scans find gets a plain-English explanation of what it means, how serious it is and what to do, within ten minutes.
Assistants beside the data
An assistant that answers questions about whatever the user is looking at. On the same platform, one now in review switches the same answer between board-level, manager-level and fully technical.
Spend you control
Each company gets a daily allowance of AI requests (10 a day by default), answers are capped at 500 words, and a repeated question is answered from a saved copy at no cost.
A provider you can swap
The AI provider sits behind one setting. When we changed provider in 2026, it took one configuration change, and the previous one stays ready as a fallback.
AI in our own tools
The platform we run the studio on has a meeting bot that turns recorded calls into tasks, and our AI coding agents work from the same board through its MCP server.
Grounded, and watched
Answers come from data the platform already holds, and it says so when it has no advice instead of inventing some. Every request is logged and counted, and the log keeps only a fingerprint of each question, never the question itself.
How we work
AI added in five careful stages.
-
Stage 1: Discover
We spend one working session mapping how your business runs, when the real deadline is and what must not go wrong. You leave with a written scope and an estimate range. We work inside your tools: Slack, Teams, Jira, ClickUp or Notion.
-
Stage 2: Design
We model your rules, data and user flows before writing any code, while changing your mind still costs nothing. You approve the screens and structure before the build starts.
-
Stage 3: Build & secure
We release working software to your environment on a regular schedule, so you see progress instead of hearing about it. A senior engineer reviews every change, including for security, before it ships.
-
Stage 4: Launch
Before the switch, we rehearse the launch and set up monitoring, backups and a written step-by-step plan, so launch night is quiet.
-
Stage 5: Run
We maintain, monitor and improve your system for as long as you’re with us. The engineers who built it keep it running.
For an AI feature, discovery settles what the model may see, what it must never answer and what a day of use may cost, before a provider is chosen.
Proof
AI shipped inside a live security product.

Questions
Fair questions, straight answers.
Can you add AI to our existing software without rebuilding it?
Yes. We add AI as a feature of the system you already run, reading data it already holds. On a live cybersecurity platform, plain-English explanations of security findings were built from data the dashboard already showed elsewhere, and they arrive within ten minutes of a finding.
How do you keep AI costs under control?
Each company gets a daily allowance of AI requests, answers are capped in length, and repeated questions are answered from a saved copy. Once the allowance is used up, the platform stops before calling the provider and shows a clear message on screen, never a silent failure. Every request is logged and counted.
Which AI provider do you use?
The one that suits the job, behind a single setting, so a provider changing its prices or terms does not lock you in. When we changed AI provider on a client platform in 2026, it took one configuration change, and the previous provider stays ready as a fallback.
Is our data safe with AI features?
We build AI features to answer only from data your platform already holds, and to say so when they have no answer instead of inventing one. On the platform where we shipped this, every request is logged and counted, and the log keeps only a fingerprint of each question, never the question itself.
