Custom management systems and portals, built around how you work
CompertMe builds custom management systems, portals and internal tools for businesses and individuals whose needs go beyond off-the-shelf software. One senior team designs, builds and secures each system around the way you work, then stays to run and improve it.
- Who it’s for
- Businesses and individuals who need reliable software built around the way they work, and a team that stays after launch. Much of our work is in cybersecurity, logistics and retail, but we build for any industry.
What we do
One system for the way your team actually works.
Your rules, written down first
We write your business rules in plain language and get them signed off before we build them in. For an air cargo handler that meant 120+ compliance rules and 40 status codes, with staff only ever offered the legal next step.
One database instead of copies
Portal, warehouse floor, admin and public site can run on one database. A retailer’s store copies had drifted 160 files apart; they became one platform where opening a store is a settings screen.
Settings your managers can change
Fees, commissions, statuses and permissions live in settings screens, not in code. One forwarding platform has 16 self-service panels, so the client changes the business without waiting for us.
Built for the people who use it
We design each workflow for the people doing the job. In one warehouse, a single scan identifies a parcel’s owner, checks the count and assigns a shelf. Our founder has also worked on systems for travel companies, a mobile network and a home-care provider.
Documents straight from the data
Contracts, customs bundles and invoices come from the records already in the system. For one retailer, one click produces nine legal documents.
We stay to run it
After launch we monitor, back up, update and improve the system, and the engineers who built it handle your requests.
How we work
From the way you work today to a working system, in five stages.
-
Stage 1: Discover
We spend one working session mapping how your business runs, when the real deadline is and what must not go wrong. You leave with a written scope and an estimate range. We work inside your tools: Slack, Teams, Jira, ClickUp or Notion.
-
Stage 2: Design
We model your rules, data and user flows before writing any code, while changing your mind still costs nothing. You approve the screens and structure before the build starts.
-
Stage 3: Build & secure
We release working software to your environment on a regular schedule, so you see progress instead of hearing about it. A senior engineer reviews every change, including for security, before it ships.
-
Stage 4: Launch
Before the switch, we rehearse the launch and set up monitoring, backups and a written step-by-step plan, so launch night is quiet.
-
Stage 5: Run
We maintain, monitor and improve your system for as long as you’re with us. The engineers who built it keep it running.
For a custom system, discovery is where the unwritten rules come out. We write them down and get them signed off before design starts, because the whole system runs on them.
Proof
Systems we built around how a business runs.
Multi-Store Retail Operations Platform
Retail · Long-running · Build, rebuild, maintain
160 — Files that had silently drifted apart between two stores
Forwarding Warehouse & Resale Platform
Logistics · 2021 · Design and build
330 — Server endpoints: 66 screens, 264 single-purpose operations
Air Cargo & Customs Platform
Logistics · 2025 – 2026 · Specify, build, deploy
7 days — Empty repository to a live, documented API. Both sides signed the contract on it
From our track record
Our rules are complicated and nobody wrote them down. Can you build them in?
Business rules · 2025
Forty status codes, and staff only ever see the legal next step.
When the partner changed its rules, four changes went live by editing settings, without touching the engine.
Can you take manual work off our team?
Automation · since 2018
An invoice used to take a working day. Now it takes one button.
Preparing an invoice went from a working day to under a minute, by the business owner’s own count.

Questions
Fair questions, straight answers.
How much does a custom management system cost?
It depends on scope, so we do not publish a price list. Discovery takes one working session, and within two working days of the call you get a written estimate range and a timeline. Support after launch is agreed up front, so there are no surprise bills. If the budget and the scope do not match, we say so and suggest what to build first.
Should we build custom software or buy an off-the-shelf tool?
Buy when an off-the-shelf tool fits how you work, and build when your team keeps working around it. If a project is too small to need a custom build, we tell you so in writing. A custom system makes sense where your rules, data or workflow are what set the business apart.
We do not have a specification yet. Can we still start?
Yes. Bring what you have: a list of problems, notes from your team or an existing system you want to replace. Discovery turns it into a written scope document, an estimate range and a risk list. You approve the screens, data and rules before we write any code, while changes still cost nothing.
Can you replace our current system without stopping work?
Yes. We replace it piece by piece while your team keeps using it, instead of switching everything off at once. A specialist retailer’s old systems kept its shops trading while we rebuilt the foundation underneath, and a forwarding business kept trading every day while we replaced its data model.
