Software maintenance and support from the engineers who built it
CompertMe maintains and supports software after launch: we monitor, back up, update and improve your system for as long as you work with us, and the engineers who built it handle your requests. We also take over systems built by other teams, starting with a review of the code and infrastructure.
- Who it’s for
- Businesses whose software is live and cannot afford to stop, whether we built it or another team did.
What we do
The stage that never closes.
Monitoring and alerts
We watch the system and what it depends on. On one platform, each external service has its own health check with a live status, so an expired key shows up as a red row in an operations panel.
Errors tracked and fixed
Errors are tracked and fixed by the people who know the code. When a system is not sure, it says so and puts the item in a queue for staff instead of guessing.
Servers, backups and updates
Setup, patching, certificates, backups and releases. On one platform we manage three production servers, so the client has one number to call whether the fault is in the software or the server.
Supplier changes absorbed
When a data supplier gave a month’s notice, we had a second source live in about two weeks, and no customer lost access to what they paid for on any day.
Improvements and rebuilds
We keep improving the system, and when it outgrows its architecture, we rebuild it underneath while customers keep using it. On one platform we have done this once and are completing a second rebuild.
The engineers who built it
The engineers who built your system handle your requests, and we reply within one working day. Some clients have been with us since 2021.
How we work
Four stages end. This is the fifth.
-
Stage 1: Discover
We spend one working session mapping how your business runs, when the real deadline is and what must not go wrong. You leave with a written scope and an estimate range. We work inside your tools: Slack, Teams, Jira, ClickUp or Notion.
-
Stage 2: Design
We model your rules, data and user flows before writing any code, while changing your mind still costs nothing. You approve the screens and structure before the build starts.
-
Stage 3: Build & secure
We release working software to your environment on a regular schedule, so you see progress instead of hearing about it. A senior engineer reviews every change, including for security, before it ships.
-
Stage 4: Launch
Before the switch, we rehearse the launch and set up monitoring, backups and a written step-by-step plan, so launch night is quiet.
-
Stage 5: Run
We maintain, monitor and improve your system for as long as you’re with us. The engineers who built it keep it running.
If another team built your system, we start with an audit of the code and infrastructure, then run and improve it. If it needs rebuilding, we replace it piece by piece while your team keeps using it.
Proof

From our track record
Can you rebuild without taking us offline?
Longevity · since 2021
Rebuilt under paying customers. Nobody lost the service.
No customer lost the service they pay for, and the client is still with us, five years in.
What if a supplier we rely on disappears?
Continuity · 2024
A data supplier gave a month’s notice. Customers never noticed.
No customer lost access to what they paid for, on any day. When another provider change came in 2026, we handled it the same way.

Questions
Fair questions, straight answers.
Do you maintain software another team built?
Yes. We start with an audit of the code and infrastructure, then run and improve the system. If it needs rebuilding, we replace it piece by piece while your team keeps using it. We have rebuilt a live cybersecurity platform while its paying customers kept using it, and are completing a second rebuild the same way.
How quickly do you respond?
We reply within one working day, and you talk to the engineers directly, in English or Arabic. Our working day overlaps with Europe and the Gulf, and with US mornings. The engineers who built the system handle your requests, so nobody has to learn it first.
How is support after launch priced?
Support after launch is agreed up front, so there are no surprise bills. Its price depends on the system and how much of it we run for you, from monitoring and backups to servers, updates and improvements. If the budget and what you need do not match, we say so and suggest what to cover first.
What if a service our system depends on shuts down?
We plan for it: each supplier sits behind its own connection layer, so it can be replaced without losing the feature. When a data supplier gave a month’s notice, a second source was live in about two weeks, and the permanent replacement followed about three months after the notice. No customer lost access on any day.
Next step
Need someone to keep it running?
Tell us what the system does and who built it. Discovery takes one working session, and you get a written estimate range within two working days of the call.
