Case studies

Ten case studies, every number counted from the code.

Cybersecurity, logistics and retail platforms, plus the one we run the studio on. Client names stay confidential, so the details are generalised; each study states its period, its sector and what we did.

  • Cyber Exposure Platform

    Cybersecurity · 2021 – present · Build, run, maintain

10 — Security services, five feeding one score

The platform keeps watching what an attacker could find about a business: its websites, leaked passwords, staff and suppliers. Partners and resellers sell it under their own brands, and a self-service version sells online with a single risk score. We have run it since 2021 and modernised it under paying customers, without any of them losing the service they pay for.

  • Phishing Simulation Platform

    Cybersecurity · 2024 – present · Design, build, maintain

2 — Separate phishing engines unified into one workflow

A security team plans a realistic phishing drill, sends it to its own staff and watches in real time who spots the trap. From one screen, each drill launches on either of two engines: one for everyday email drills, one for advanced fake-login and QR-code scenarios. Resellers work through a three-tier portal, and customers pay with usage-based credits.

  • Air Cargo & Customs Platform

    Logistics · 2025 – 2026 · Specify, build, deploy

7 days — Empty repository to a live, documented API. Both sides signed the contract on it

An air cargo handler couldn’t sign its partner contract until a working, documented API existed. We built it in seven days, then the platform behind it: eleven modules from flight to invoice, a compliance engine of more than 120 rules, status updates for a whole flight in one action and customs bundles in one click.

  • Cross-Border Forwarding Platform

    Logistics · 2018 – present · Build, run, maintain

8 years — Continuous development, one data-model rebuild, zero downtime

A forwarder shipping US online orders to a Caribbean island ran its business on spreadsheets. We moved it onto one platform, one manual job at a time: customers get a US address in seconds, packages find their owners automatically and an invoice takes one button. When its main partner replaced its API, we rebuilt the data model underneath without the business stopping for a minute.

  • Forwarding Warehouse & Resale Platform

    Logistics · 2021 · Design and build

    330 — Server endpoints: 66 screens, 264 single-purpose operations

Parcels arrived at the warehouse with nothing on them but a courier tracking number. We designed and built one system where customers declare parcels before they arrive, so a single scan identifies the owner, checks the count and assigns a shelf. It works in four languages and runs a resale consignment business on the same shelves.

  • Multi-Store Retail Operations Platform

    Retail · Long-running · Build, rebuild, maintain

160 — Files that had silently drifted apart between two stores

A specialist retailer ran each store on its own copy of the same software, and by the time we measured, the copies were 160 files apart. We advised against merging them and rebuilt the foundation underneath instead: one platform where every record belongs to a store and opening a new store is a settings screen. The old systems kept the shops trading throughout.

  • Competitor Price Intelligence Platform

    Retail · Long-running · Build, run, maintain

    188 — Competitor websites monitored

The client’s industry had no market data. The platform monitors 188 competitor websites, keeps every price change as history and turns a public licensing register into a search box inside the client’s store software. When a site breaks, it keeps the last good data and raises an alarm; at 100 unresolved faults it pauses its own monitoring of that site, then resumes by itself once they are fixed.

  • White-Label Storefront Engine

    Retail · Multi-brand · Build, extend, maintain

8 — Files that diverge between two live brands, of 60

One website engine runs the storefronts of several consumer brands. Each brand is a file of 22 settings, not a separate codebase, and 52 of the 60 engine files are identical between the live brands. The catalogue installs like an app and keeps browsing with no signal, because buyers often decide inside the shop, where reception is weak.

  • Supplier Transparency Network

Retail · Until 2021 · Extend and maintain

0 — Passwords typed in front of a customer

We turned a legal disclosure buried in contract small print into the strongest part of the sale. Every supplier has one profile, shared by all partner stores, with photos, video, accreditation marks and the official inspection reports. Staff open it on a shop-floor tablet without typing a password in front of the customer.

  • Studio Operations Platform

Our own · 2026 – present · Our own platform

The platform we run the studio on keeps projects, time, people, finance and infrastructure in one place, in Arabic and English. A meeting bot turns recorded calls into tasks, and our AI coding agents work from the same board through its MCP server. We built it in six weeks on the live database of the system it replaced, and 2,241 automated tests cover it.
