Secure, fast applications, checked by our own scanning platform
CompertMe secures and speeds up applications of every kind, from web and mobile apps to APIs, SaaS platforms and internal systems, with protected sign-in, strict access control, safeguarded data and performance that holds as usage grows. Our own security scanning platform checks them regularly for known weaknesses, and a senior engineer reviews every change before release.
- Who it’s for
- Businesses and product owners whose applications hold sensitive data or must stay fast under load, whether we built them or not.
Coverage
What we cover
Sign-in & permissions
Two-step sign-in, single sign-on, role-based permissions and strict separation between customers on shared platforms.
Security scanning
Regular scans from our own security scanning platform for known vulnerabilities, exposed services and certificate problems.
Code & change review
A senior engineer reviews every change for security before release, and we add automated tests where they protect the most.
Servers & infrastructure
Hardened servers, encrypted connections, off-site backups and round-the-clock monitoring with instant alerts.
Database & speed
Query and index tuning, caching and background processing for heavy tasks, so pages stay fast as data and users grow.
Errors & capacity
Error tracking, load monitoring and fixing the root cause rather than the symptom. We once brought a server running near full capacity back to normal without moving to a bigger one.
What we do
Where we look, and what we fix.
An audit before anything else
When we take over a system, we start with an audit of the code and infrastructure, then fix what matters most first. Big decisions come to you in writing.
Permissions on every record
Access is checked on the server before any data loads. On one multi-tenant platform, 117 permission rules block a common attack: changing a number in a URL to reach another company’s record.
Logins and sessions
Two-factor authentication, passwordless magic links, lockout after repeated failures and one active session per account. Passwords are judged by length, the NIST way, not by symbols.
Input, uploads and headers
Formatted text passes a filter that allows only approved elements, every upload is checked in full, including data files for hidden formulas, and every response carries a content security policy and strict HTTPS.
Fast as it grows
Anything slow, external or rate-limited runs in the background, so it never blocks a person, and heavy results are cached so the second request is instant.
Every change reviewed
A senior engineer reviews every change, including for security, before it ships, for as long as we run the system.
How we work
Security in every stage, not a final check.
-
Stage 1: Discover
We spend one working session mapping how your business runs, when the real deadline is and what must not go wrong. You leave with a written scope and an estimate range. We work inside your tools: Slack, Teams, Jira, ClickUp or Notion.
-
Stage 2: Design
We model your rules, data and user flows before writing any code, while changing your mind still costs nothing. You approve the screens and structure before the build starts.
-
Stage 3: Build & secure
We release working software to your environment on a regular schedule, so you see progress instead of hearing about it. A senior engineer reviews every change, including for security, before it ships.
-
Stage 4: Launch
Before the switch, we rehearse the launch and set up monitoring, backups and a written step-by-step plan, so launch night is quiet.
-
Stage 5: Run
We maintain, monitor and improve your system for as long as you’re with us. The engineers who built it keep it running.
A senior engineer reviews every change for security during the build, and after launch security is kept up as part of running the system: updates, monitoring and fixes.
Proof
Security work on platforms where trust is the product.
Cyber Exposure Platform
Cybersecurity · 2021 – present · Build, run, maintain
10 — Security services, five feeding one score
Phishing Simulation Platform
Cybersecurity · 2024 – present · Design, build, maintain
2 — Separate phishing engines unified into one workflow
Supplier Transparency Network
Retail · Until 2021 · Extend and maintain
0 — Passwords typed in front of a customer
From our track record
Can staff sign in without sharing passwords?
Point of sale · shop floor
Nobody types a password in front of a customer.
Staff type no password and share no password, and every time a profile is opened, it is recorded under the salesperson’s name.

Questions
Fair questions, straight answers.
What does an application security review cover?
It starts with an audit of the code and infrastructure and a scan from our own security scanning platform: how users sign in, whether access is checked on every record, how input and uploads are handled, and which security headers every response carries. Then we fix what matters most first, and any big decision comes to you in writing before we act on it.
Can you secure a system another team built?
Yes. We start with an audit of the code and infrastructure: how users sign in, who can see what, and how input, uploads and headers are handled. Then we run and improve the system. If it needs rebuilding, we replace it piece by piece while your team keeps using it, instead of switching everything off at once.
How do you stop one customer seeing another’s data?
Access is checked on the server for every record, before any data loads, never just hidden in the interface. On one multi-tenant platform that means 117 permission rules, which block a common attack on such products: changing a number in a URL to reach someone else’s record.
Can you make a slow system faster too?
Yes, as part of the same work. We move anything slow, external or rate-limited into the background so it never blocks a person, and cache heavy results so the second request is instant. After launch, keeping the system fast as it grows is part of running it.
Next step
Not sure who can see what?
Tell us what the system does and who uses it. Tick the NDA box when you write, and we send a signed NDA within one working day, before the first call.
Client names stay confidential, so the details are generalised. Every number on this page comes from the case studies and the track record it links to.
